4 days two off none stop music , and 24 7 party.
This years oxegen even though started on a Friday with heavy rain which landed me with one pair off socks , no shoes and a Foul hummer , turned out to be a worth every penny spent , headlining this year where bands such as, Snow patrol, The Killers, Scissor Sisters , Kings of leon, Muse and My chemical romance.
Even though Friday turned belly up and looked to set the trend for the rest off the festival, Saturday turned out to be bright and sunny with short spurts off rain, playing that day where Kings of Leon, Scissor sisters, Snow patrol and Muse.
Kings off leon put on a great show singing long time favorites and raising the sound level, after them came scissor sister who put a whole new level off screams and cheers as not only did they interact with the crowd by naming some county's but the lead singer striping on stage mooning the crowd and putting on only a face towel to cover his private bits and rolling in the mud with the fans.
Up next came Ireland's very own Snow patrol who riding the wave off the scissor sisters brought the crowd to horse voices, He named out a few people who where having or just had children his sister and a light man on stage who had a son, pushing there time limit to the max the band left to a demanding crowd off 80,000 or more people all screaming "one more time" which i was proud to be apart off, after a minute or so the band came on one last time to crank out a few off there tunes like "run" and " my signal fire" until they where forced to level to a very satisfied crowd.
Muse was up next and with a fantastic display off visual effects and a great performance proved that they had earned themselves the title off greatest live preforming band on earth, not even I could deny that and i don't even know one single song off there's.
Sunday even though not as bright as Saturday also turned out reasonable well with the memory off last nights killer performances, the bands of My chemical romance, razorlight and The Killers brought down the house on the last day off the music festival.
Know coming home with several sunburns, and empty belly and sleep deprivation I am already looking forward to next years unknown line up .
